Q: How much does it cost for Tropical Freeze services?
A: The price is $150.00. This includes delivery of our all stainless steel drink machine, cart it sits upon, grass skirt, your first  mix ,
pre-measured mixing container, delivery, set up, and pick up the next day. 

Q: Are the machines easy to use?
A: Yes indeed. We mix the first batch and show you how to use your machine. We leave clear printed instructions and we are on call for immediate service in case of emergency (mix runs are not considered an emergency, so you really should order extra. Remember...you only pay for what you use!!)

Q: How many drinks does one batch make?
A: One batch of margaritas makes about 60-70 nine ounce drinks. Our experience shows that usually half or more guests drink the frozen drinks even if you offer a choice.  Extra mixes are $20.00 and are refundable if unopened. 

Q: How long does the first batch take to freeze?
A: Just 45 minutes! No waiting between batches. These machines are workhorses (in the heat of the summer with heavy usage, there might be a 10 minute rest period for the machine to catch up, as long as you don't allow the hopper to completely empty.)

Q: Who provides the liquor and how much will I need?
A: You provide all the liquor. A medium strength batch of margaritas call for 1 1/2- 1.75 liter bottles (1 1/2 handles) of tequila. All other flavors use 2 liters for regular strength (or 1 handle for a medium strength) of alcohol per batch.

Q: How far in advance should I reserve my machine?
A: We recommend as early as possibly during the summer season for Saturday rentals (we book up fast).
Make sure the number of guests does not exceed the drink making capacity (see our recommendations),
otherwise the machine will not perform properly. Ask about our multi-machine rental discounts!

We don't deliver double machines! They are too heavy for stairs and most outdoor outlets
can’t handle the amperage. Two machines is the way to go. You can separate them to avoid
crowding or monitor kids if one is used for non-alcoholic beverages. 

Tropical Freeze does not condone alcohol consumption. Any mention in this site is for
reference only. We are a creative alternative for non-alcoholic functions and
sponsor many school events and children’s fund raisers.
